The University of Cantabria (UC) has extensive experience in international research projects and programmes, participating in 118 projects funded by the Seventh Framework Program (FP7, 2007-2013) and by the Horizon 2020 calls. In the Horizon Europe Programme, the UC participates at the moment in 16 projects from the different calls with a total funding obtained of 4.62M€.

The Foundation for Education and Social Dialogue „PRO CIVIS” was established in Kielce, Poland in December 2007. The mission and the aim of the Foundation is to take up, conduct, and support the initiatives for social dialogue and the development of local and regional societies.
The main areas of the Foundation’s activities are research and development, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Since 2011, PRO CIVIS has been focusing on green economy issues such as circular economy, sustainable development, renewable energy sources, ecological innovation and territorial ecology.

People in Need (PIN) organization was established over 30 years ago by a group of Czech war correspondents who were no longer satisfied with merely relaying information about ongoing conflicts and began sending out aid, and gradually became established as a professional humanitarian organization striving to provide aid in troubled regions and support adherence to human rights around the world.
Throughout its years of activity, PIN has become one of the biggest non-profit organizations in Central Europe, providing humanitarian aid in critical regions around the world in response to a real need, and helps people overcome disaster and support them in their time of recovery so that they can get back on their feet. PIN is part of Alliance2015, a strategic network of seven European non-governmental organizations engaged in humanitarian aid and development projects.

Founded in 2017, WeLOOP is an expertise and innovation office specialising in understanding, assessing, and improving the environmental, social, and economic performances of organisations.
In a collaborative relationship, WeLOOP guides organisations in their circular economy and life cycle management projects, from strategy definition to implementation.

Irish Bioeconomy Foundation (IBF) is the bioeconomy association and innovation cluster of Ireland covering the Island of Ireland. IBF’s mission is to promote the conversion of Ireland’s natural land & sea resources to high-value products for the development of a sustainable bioeconomy that is globally competitive and creates local development. IBF supports members and the Irish innovation ecosystem by providing bioprocess design and scale-up, access to finance, and outreach.
In Bio4HUMAN, IBF actively participates in tasks associated with the “Mapping the ground and Scoping exercise Phase 1” work package (WP3), the “Scoping exercise” work package (WP4), and the “Socio-economic and governance aspects evaluation” work package (WP6), whilst also leading the “Identification process of solutions” task of WP4 together with PRO CIVIS and the task of creating a replication plan, guidelines, and recommendations together with BIOEAST HUB within WP8.
Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) is a Polish non-governmental organisation that has been operating since 1992. Its mission is to aid the people affected by armed conflicts, climate crisis, and natural disasters all over the world. For the past 31 years, PAH supported more than 16,5 million people in 52 countries.
PAH is guided by the principles of humanitarianism, impartiality, neutrality, and independence. The organisation provides access to water, hygiene and sanitation, food, shelter, and psychosocial assistance. It also supports the health and education sectors.
In Bio4HUMAN, PAH is leading the Socio-economic and governance aspects evaluation work package (WP6).
AIMPLAS, Plastic Technology Institute based in Valencia, is a private non-profit Association with more than 850 associated companies created in 1990. It is an active member of REDIT (Network of Technological Institutes of the Valencian Community), FEDIT (Spanish Federation of Innovation and Technology Entities), and EARTO (European Association of Research and Technology Organizations).
AIMPLAS develops its activities aiming to promote actions such as innovation and modernization of the Plastics industry, technological R&D, improving production and product quality, the best environmental behaviour of companies, the increase in competitiveness, the diversification of industries, and specialized training of sector technicians.

The BIOEAST HUB CZ is the first national BIOEAST HUB in the BIOEAST region established in line with the BIOEAST Governance and Roadmap and with the support of BIOEAST NCP and the Ministry of Agriculture CZ to gather stakeholders and support their engagement in bioeconomy. The BIOEAST HUB CZ is the coordinator of two BIOEAST Thematic Working Groups – Fresh Water Based Bioeconomy and Bioeconomy Education established at the macro-regional level.
